I recently bought an older model 2005 A6. Everything seems to be in perfect working condition. Well almost everything, it had no climate control on the dash. I asked the old owner about it and he said something happenened to it and it was removed. He said he planned on getting another but lost the old one. Said something about being a specific model if not it will now work with the car. So now I'm stuck. Nobody knows what the model was and how can I find out? Is it possible with the VIN #? Please help. I want to use the car but in cold days its going to suck not having heat or defrost and defog. Thanks in advance.
