I have the 99.5 A4 1.8T Quattro and my cruise control has only worked twice since i bought it about a year ago. i checked the module too see if a had to solder like i heard in many other cases but mine look just fine, i cancelled out the speed settings and now i'm in a stall. what could be the problem?

 

It's probably a failure of the switch on the stalk. I've had two of them fail like that since I've had my car.
