the navigation unit on my 2005 a6 kicked on me. im getting the message 'navigation not installed' when i try to use it. i want to pull it out and have a friend of mine take a look at it. i see i need some removal tools, but is it okay to just pull it out and unplug the cords connected without any problems? Thanks for the help.

 

do u have the safe code for the radio?

 

no i don't. removing the navigation unit from the trunk will lock the radio? any idea on how to obtain the safe code?

 

well the safe code should be in your manual and as for the navigation unit what kinda of radio do you have? A stock rns-e?
