ok here is the deal i was listening to my cd then all the sudden the cd player shut off then went itno safety mode. I then disconected the battery and nothing the radio wouldnt turn on or do anything it just stayed in safety mode. So i then went and changed the fuse and then the radio finanly turned on and i had to put my cd key in then it just stayed it radio mode and now no other buttons work, all i can do is raise up the vloume and change the tuner, i press the dc button and it doesnt do anything, my remote doesnt even work. What should i do.

 

Hmmmm. sounds interesting. double check your connections and everything behind there make sure your not arching any connections or some are loose. Then i would check the manual, i think there is a reset button on that unit if i remeber right or maybe its the AVN7000 but i forget and if there is try using that. IF nothing seems to work. un plug the radio from the back of it for about 10 minutes. then plug it back in and check it. sometimes justr unplugging it doesnt tottaly clear it because it might run its own very small cell. that lasts a couple seconds. Otherwise contact eclipse and tell them yuour issuse see if its common which i doubt, however they do have a very good customer service and if its underwarranty you should be all set. And if they ask you who installed it tell em someone professional cause if u did it and they know it they wont service anything. But again they may ask you to send them your invoice for the professional labor install. So be weary.
