I would like to know if you can integrate an IPOD to the new 2006 A6? My current 2003 Mercedes C320 has a plug in the glove compartment that I route my IPOD through and it works awesome. I like the new A6 4.2 but I'm told no capability of linking an IPOD which I find unbelievable. I'm hoping the salesman doesnt know for sure. I cant believe Audi would miss this. If it cant link I buy the E350 4-matic.

Anybody know anything about this??

 

The new audi a6 uses fiber optics not wires for the sound, navigation, telephone and mmi (the screen on the dash), thus making it more difficult to integrate an ipod. icelink is working on an ipod hook up for it but it is now in production yet. Keep your eyes open I'll bet it won't be too long til one is out
