I have a 2011 A3 TDI that has been a perfect car until this winter. A couple of weeks ago I started it and I had 7 different lights that were out... right headlight, right fog light, right front blinked, right reverse light, left rear taillight, left high beam, and license light. After the car warmed up I restarted it and they worked fine for a few days. Then a few days ago I went out and had the same problem, but have not been able to get them working again. Sometimes the lights flicker, like the right headlight might turn on for a few seconds when I turn the blinkers on.
I believe that it had to be a wiring issue or maybe an electronic control unit issue, but would like some guidance since my local dealer in Springfield Missouri wanted to replace all of the bulbs (and charge me for them all) as a first step. Somehow I find it really hard to believe that in one day 7-8 bulbs decide to go out at once!
