Hey I'm new to this forum. I just recently bought an 06 Audi A4 with the RNS-E navigation. The battery died which required a jump and my navigation/radio is now asking for a code. I looked through all the manuals and cannot find this code. I called the dealer who says I will have to bring the car in to get the code, but I am not going to be able to do that until Monday. Any suggestions so I don't have to drive around all weekend without navigation/radio.

Talked to the dealer local here about what it takes to get a code. They claim they have to pull the head unit and get the serial number, then send that off to Audi in Germany. Then they can generate/obtain the code from that. My dealer said $50.

Yeah I know about that I just can't do it till Monday. It's not that big of a deal because I bought it a few months ago from the dealer I'm going to bring it to so I'm gonna flip if they make me pay as I feel this should have been provided to me when I bought the car. I just don't want to wait till Monday to use it.
