Just recently brought Audi A3 1.6 (02), and I am not getting any reception on the radio, if I stay parked outside work I receive the local station but as soon as I drive off it disappears,could it be the aerial amp and where is it. can anyone help me on this matter ?

 

philip, the antenna amp appears to be in the rear hatch above the rear window. At least for the 2006 - 2008 models. Under the trim on the drivers side. I'm guessing the radio antenna is actually in the glass heater wiring. Not sure if the earlier models are the same, hope it helps.
