I have just purchased a tatty 2003 A4 estate. Among a few other jobs I need to undertake the lack of any interior lighting was something I figured would be easy. I checked the CCM and whilst it was bone dry and looked good I gave it an acetone scrub to be sure. Still nothing. Then I removed the panel containing the interior lights and low and behold there was no connection plugged into the panel. I felt around under the headliner but could feel the cable. Where is it meant to come from? Front left? It seems the airbag wiring it up in that corner too.
