Odd Audi A8 electric issues..
Hi all, new here, might know a few of you from driftworks or sxoc..
Recentluy swapped my RX8 for a 1998 Audi A8 3.7v8
Cars pretty funky, but seems to have an odd electrics issue.
For some reason, when i start the car, i have to turn the key back in the ignition so that it is resting as far in the off position as possible before the engine atcually stops.
If i do not do this, the headlights dont work, no horn, and the car seems to cut out quite a lot? it has cut out once or twice with the key in the prime position, but happens a lot when its not in the right place..
Being an auto, i cant just dip the clutch and keep the revs up, so have to stop, into park, then start the car and go again.
It doest appear to be anything engine related, as once its going, it goes well. It is only when i am stopping for junctions ect..
Anyone shed any light on it, or had anything similar?
Thanks Rob
