Question about charging items from the lighter socket
Hi,
I have bought a powered wheelchair for my wife to assist with mobility. It is powered by 200w 24v Li-ion batteries, they are normally charged from (GB) mains electricity.
It would be nice if we could charge these batteries whilst on the move for longer journeys. There is an Inverter (200w or 300w from Bestek) that can be purchased on Amazon, to be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. I wondered if this would charge the batteries (albeit slow) without causing any damage to the batteries or car?
Do you have an alternative suggestion.
For what its worth, I have an A7 TDI Quattro MY2016.
Mike.
