I've just bought a 2009 A4 and am looking for some help with this AMI/MMI adapter.

So I know about the 3 different types of adapters.
you have the
-Old Iphone 3/4 adapter
-the USB adapter
-and the 3.5mm aux adapter.

My questions is about the USB adapter.

can I connect a USB cable to the USB adapter and then plug my Iphone 5 into the USB and play music from my library, youtube, pandora, ect?

I ask because I'm not sure if Audi's computer will recognize the connection and of course... who wants to buy something without knowing if it will work.

 

Yes you can connect your Iphone 5 with usb adapter. I use it with kizaki.
