Default Radio popping noise

I installed a kenwood 155u in my 2000 with bose and now when i plug the speaker rcas into the deck whenever i change the station or the volume or switch sources it makes a loud pooping sound in the speakers. The adapter kit said to use the purple and grey for the plugs but when i plug those in it is very quiet but without the popping noise. When i plug the lighter colored rcas in that are supposed to not get used the radio is loud like it should be but the popping noise starts. Any help? Thanks alot

Seriously? All in one days time, huh? I'm guessing you're an only child, and yer Mum gave you ALL the hugs you wanted, whether or not you actually needed them.

Your popping noise is no doubt created by a not-quite-firmly-secure physical connection. See if you can find something like THIS:
Amazon.com: MG Chemicals 846 Carbon Conductive Grease, 80g Tube, Black: Industrial & Scientific Amazon.com: MG Chemicals 846 Carbon Conductive Grease, 80g Tube, Black: Industrial & Scientific

At your local parts store. A l'il dab'll do ya, Brylcreem.
