Rear door electronics not working
Hello Audi people. Hooray for my first post! I've searched on this issue and have found leads, but they didn't work out. I thought I'd bring it to the gurus.
I have a 2007 Audi A3 (Euro spec) 1.9TDI that I bought a couple weeks ago. It's in great shape minus this one issue. It has about 145,000kms.
Here is the problem...
The driver rear door window will not roll up or down from the driver's main switch. It did work once or twice a week ago then just doesn't work at all now. When I lock the doors from the remote all of the doors lock except that one. Here is the kicker - the window will roll up and down from the switch on that door. When I rolled it down yesterday from the switch on that door it wouldn't roll back up. I waited a few minutes and then it rolled up. Weird.
I believe it to be an electrical issue. I am going to get under the dash and check the window fuse tonight. My other idea was to take off the driver and rear driver door panel to ensure everything is connected properly.
