I'm trying to install a newsirius receiver myself and have run into a bit of a problem during the install. Maybe someone can help. I've recently purchased a 2008 A4 with an Audi Symphony AM/FM/SAT(*pre-wired).I was able topurchase the siriusreceiver online and succesfully plug it intothe left-rear compartment in the trunk. I run into a problem when I go tothe CAN BUS. After exposing the CAN BUS I was told to simply pull and switch the pink colored connection over to the adjacent connector slot and the Sat receiver should work fine....Only problem is there is nothing in the slot next to the pink connector...it's completely empty...just a hollow, empty frame, no female end or anything. Does anyone know what to do? Below is an image of my CAN BUS.

 

That should do it...connecting it on the port to the left lets the car know there is SAT. Dont really know why its not working for you. check this out if you havent already

Problem fixed...was looking in the wrong place. Works like a charm
