I am having intermittent drops in satellite signal in areas that I don't think I should (metro Phoenix area, outside, no mountains or obstructions). Happens intermittently for a couple of seconds, generally only in very hot weather (>105). Does this make sense to anyone?

 

could simply be an issue with the antenna itself.. I bought a Sirius Satellite system for my Dad for Fathers day from RadioShack. An extra 10 bucks got me a 1 year replacement plan for it. I'm not sure if other places that sell Sirius offer that, but since most people go to RadioShack for that type of thing, you might have too. They're great about taking care of their customers, see if they can offer you a solution.
