Hello everyone. I *really* hope SOMEone on this site can help me with this problem.
About 18 months ago, I took advantage of an advertised 'free listening weekend' on siriusxm radio.
I was on the sirius site today, looking for a listening pkg. for my car. 1st - the site tells me that my car is NOT eligible for a sirius pkg., using my VIN # as the basis (which i find hard to believe - because if i was able to listen to it over the 'free' weekend, how can i NOT now be able to listen thru one of their pkgs. - go figure). 2nd - I'm not able to access any of the pkgs., unless i put in either a 'radio id #' or an 'esn #'. even after speaking with a c.s. agent, for some reason, they didn't understand or couldn't grasp the idea that i was able to listen during a promotional weekend WITHOUT an actual 'siriusxm' radio installed. i *really* do NOT want to install a 'siriusxm' radio, when i already have a perfectly good satellite radio in my car. Has ANYone else out there come across something like this? any solutions you've found? thanks in advance.
