Default speakers

I recently put in an alpine head unit and a 10 in alpine type r in the back of my 96 a6 wagon(quattro 2.8) I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about speaker types for the rest of the car. It has a bose system from when the car was purchased, but it is starting to go and will prob need to be replaced in a year. Should i continue with alpine or is there a better company to use for speakers?

There are alot of better speakers you can get compared to alpine. It just depends on what you want out of them and your budget. Also if your bose system has a factory amp you will have to rewire any new speakers you install because of the processing done in the bose amp.

What type of music do you listen to? Whats your budget?

I also suggest checking out www.caraudio.com/forum and www.elitecaraudio.com/forums/index for more info on car audio.

I basically listen to everything. I have a custom amp installed in the back of my car for the sub and as for my budget, i want quality and am not afraid to pay a little extra for it.
