Default USB/SD/Line in unit on eBay

Anyone have any comments on this:

I don't have an MP3 player, but I like the idea of having a USB memory thing loaded with my MP3's. Seems like a good price to get up and running.

What do you think??

All I can say is GET IT! I had one. It was great. Then I got a good deal on an an in-dash DVD so I sold it.

You plug it into the factory deck, then plug your 6 disc changer into it. You can toggle from radio to cd then radio to mp3.

I can tell you it has a few issues. If you don't have the magazine in the changer with at least one CD at all times it will hang up and not work. As soon as it see "NO DISC" you have to pull the key for 5 seconds so it can restart. Then it works again. Just keep a CD in the magazine.

Also you set up your USB stick with 6 folders all named CD01, CD02... then it will act as 6 CDs....but once you start a song, you cannot fast forward through the song. Only skip to the next song.

Random and shuffle still works fine.

If you leave the factory CD changer unplugged completely then it has no issues with getting stuck. It just goes back and forth from MP3 to radio.

And to confirm, yes you can have both this device and your 6 disc changer plugged and working together.

Thanks for the feedback! I looked around a bit more and found the same unit for $59! One if them even had a mini USB port that might be intended for the iPod, but I'm not really that interested in that feature. I like the thought of $59 plus a $10 USB stick I can be MP3'in it up in my car. It's a no-brainer if you don't have the need/desire to have a portable player.
