Hello all,

Just picked up an 07 a3 for the missus and my ipod touch 4th gen doesn't work in the ipod dock in the glove box.

It flashes up some sort of charging error and nothing else. The stereo doesn't even react at all.

I'm wondering if it's broken or I need some sort of adaptor to make it work.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated and I'd shower you with an unprecedented amount of goodwill.

 

the same thing happened to me with my 08 a4, im not exactly sure what i did to fix it but make sure you have a nice snug connection since the ipod touch has that silly slanted port and make sure the software is up to date

or you can get a Grom ipod adapter cable and turn it into an 3.5mm aux plug like i did to use my phone
