I just got a 98 A4 and apparently only the high speed setting works on the windshield wipers and if I turn them off while there moving they freeze where there at instead of finishing and going back to resting position. Anyone help? thought it could be the relay but not sure.

 

I also have a 1998 Audi A4 (2.4 V6 petrol auto) with the very same problem. Wipers work only on fastest speed and will not self-park. How to fix? New wiper stalk unit, or replace relay unit, or some other solution? Please respond. Thanks.
