Default Wiring Harness Question

Hey guys,

I have a Bose Symphony stero system in the Audi. Id like to put my Pioneer Premier into it but my local audio shop said they did not have the proper wiring harness to install an aftermarket headunit. Knowing the infinite knowledge of the web, I know there has to be a wiring harness out there that is for the Symphony stereo system that is needed in order to put in a new headunit. Someone has to have put a aftermarket headunit in a 01 audi before, so it has to be possible. Does anyone know where i could look for this?

Any help would be appreciated

I would recommend a different audio shop. lol

Not only is it an easy install, but Audi was nice enough to actually provide a pin out for the harnesses ON the oem radio.

There is a harness made for the Bose systems, which uses the rca outputs of the HU instead of the speaker wire outputs.

i did have to swap the acc/12v wires though its pinned backwards. but yea thats the harness.
