You got an SD in My Nav System
Bought a used 2005.5 S4 a couple of weeks ago and the Nav System would not read the DVD. Tried a CD and it still could not read the disk. So I purchased the keys to pull the head and a new DVD player to install. Saturday the wife and I pulled the head out man that was so much easier then doing it on most American Made Cars. I started to pull the Nav System apart. The Nav DVD was still in he player because it would not eject.
I removed the top of the head and saw that the Nav DVD was sitting at weird angle in the player and was raised at the back. I gently lifted the back of the DVD so as not to crack it and looked under it with a flashlight. Underneath the DVD was an SD Card. I was able to fish it out and we plugged the head back into the car and the DVD player will now read a CD but it looks like the Nav DVD itself is still trashed. So now I have a spare DVD Player for the Head but will have to come up with a new maps DVD.
I wonder who's kid stuffed the SD Card in the DVD Slot.
