Hi Guys and Girls

I have got a smashing wee Audi A6 (Diesel) but it recently developed a problem...It just wouldn't start one day. Checked on a lot of forums and found that it was "Most likely to be a fuel pump."
I then found out that the fuel pump on top of the engine costs over £2200 just for the flipping pump! However after the Auto mobile Association let me down and scratching their heads I found a guy who did something I found worked but was very strange.
Basically he opened the fuel tank and inserted a high air pressure hose into the tank and pumped air in whist cracking a few of the injectors and it worked a treat. I know that my cars like mine have an issue with the fuel pump on the engine but I hope that this thread is of use to anyone worrying about a massive bill and I hope you try this first before spending money on a job that could maybe be fixed easily.
