Default "pimping" 99 a4 rear end

I'm a noob here and don't know anything much about cars, but I was wondering how I could make the rear end ofA4 99 (or around then) look more like that of the 99 S4. Especially round the exhaust area, as I think it makes it look ugly. Also really noob question but if I buy exhaust tips will that give my car a "race car" sound?

the S4 of that year just has the lower black plasic part color matched to match the rest of the paint on the car. and As for the exhaust tips, If you still are running the stock exhaust system, then these will bolt right on and Look very classy

Excellent, thanks for the help. Fraid I don't own the car yet. I'm in a muddle and don't know what to chose between a6 2.8q, 2.7t or the a4 2.8q[&:]
