I have a 2004 A4 1.8t ultrasport with the factory hid headlights with autolevel. I would like to change just the low beam bulb from the factory color to a 8000k color bulb while still using the factory ballast and connentors. Is this possible? If so where can I buy the new bulb? If not how do I go about changing it to run a new ballast and hid bulb for just the low beam?

 

u you can swap ur bulb for an 8000k bulb. Just make sure u get the right one. I think its ds1 bulbs but i could be mistaken. Most people order of ddmtuning.com for cheap prices and quality. Or u can swap the entire ballast and bulbs for almost the same price.

 

i did that with my a6 and i ordered from ddmtuning cost about 30 somthin bucks shipped. and they have a link so you can find out what kind of bulb you already have. its plug and play hooks right up to your stock connectors. by the way i got the 8k and it looks awsome
