Need some opinions on what I can do with my front grill piece. I bought the car like this, but I am trying to avoid buying the entire front grill (cost reasons). I was wondering if I can simply buy the plastic lip to connect to the bottom of what I have already? Just to hide some of the stuff showing through the bottom and make it look a little nicer. If so, any links to a used piece? Found a brand new one for about $80-$120.

you could buy a new splitter/apron as they are cheap. and just out of curiosity what year model is your a4 b5?
