Audi Replica Rims?
Just got a new B8 A4 and I've trying to decide what to do about the 17" Rims.
After like 2 weeks of trying to decide whether to get new rims, Powder Coat the existing rims, what size to go with if new, etc...I almost got convinced that I should either keep the rims I got, or chrome dip them, or powder coat them like a glossy black. Then I stumbled upon this place...

The prices are awesome and sound like decent quality (obviously not Official Audi Wheels though). I kinda like 18's, and the split 5 or 7 spoke design.
I don't want bigger than 18's, and don't plan on dropping it. So I was hoping for some opinions...

Powder Coat (Glossy Black) Existing Rims?
Chrome Existing Rims?
Get Replica Rims? GunMetal? or Chrome?
or Just stick with what I got?
Any input or OTHER ideas would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

replicas are hit and miss. Some look alright and others are ehh. i hear alot of people who get 18's wish they had got 19's so make sure u get the right size. Lookat pics on a4mods to see different size rims on cars with stock setup. Just my two cents.
I have S4 17in on my A6 & was gonna powdercoat them gloss black till I found a replica/oem rim site that has great prices & some of the OEM rims are black. they have my same rims in 18's in black for i think like $160 ea....that's cheap *** hell considering the best price i got for powdercoating is $40 a rim (17's).

I purchased 4 replica rims from a company called Eurotech luxury wheels in California. I think they are the same as the ones that OE Wheels carry. I had them for 6 months and the wheels started pitting and the chrome turned to powder in the holes were the lug nuts fit in. The company would not honour their warranty because i drove the car in the winter with salted roads? I also drove the last 15 pair of chrome rims in the snow without these problems but according to the owner of Eurotech that didn't matter. You are better off getting your rims powder coated or chromed rather than buying cheap chinese junk.
