I want to paint / replace the black plastic piece that is on the Silver A4's. I don't know why they put that black piece there it looks weird, i want it to match the rest of the body of the car, i have seen other colors of the same model without that half and half type paint haha, it seems like its only the silver ones. Please let me know how i can go about doing that, do they have it at audi dealership or is there any good way to paint it, i asked someone and they said it would cost a fortune just for that.. Please help thanks

 

Just bought an A4 quattro with exactly the same problem only its a metallic pearl blue. Let me know if u find anything, i'll do the same. Such a shame for the styling!!

 

go to a paint shop and tell them u want ur lowers painted. Should cost between 200 to 500 depending on shop. And they are left black like that cuz most roads in europe arent well paved and rocks will chip the paint so they leave it black.

went to autozone bought 2 cans of Duplicolor silver and some blue tape 2 hours and 15 bucks project complete.

 

yea i have a b6 a4 same problem!!! I was thinking about buying the cans and doing it myself but kinda dont know about that?? any DIY or good suggestions??
