I recently purchased a low miles, well equipped, 06 A4 quattro silver exterior and ash interior and am looking at upgrades.

What is the downside of reprogramming the turbo?

I thought a polished aluminum grill would go well with the silver paint. Does the vertical bar or mesh look better? Are others satisfied with these mods? Which brand is the best?

I am thinking of a painted trunk lip spoiler. Again, which brand is best. Any problems with installation?

Any other suggestions for mods?

 

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "reprogramming the turbo". Do you mean replacing the turbo with a larger one, or do you mean a computer upgrade?

I can't be much help on the grille, but as far as spoilers go, remember that you get what you pay for, but if you or a friend have body/fiberglass experience, you could conceivably get a cheap Ebay lip spoiler and reinforce it. Installation problems will include, but not be limited to drilling new holes, waterproofing said holes, and making sure the spoiler fits flush, which goes back to the body work experience.
