Fiberglass BodyKit?

Fiberglass BodyKit?
[align=left] I've heard that fiberglass bodykits crack easily. . Is this true because I really like some of the Kerscher bodykits, but they only make them in fiberglass. .
If so, is there a brand similiar to Kerscher?

If you install them with alittle flexability like thick double sided tape on the side skirts it allows a bit of flex. If you bottom them out they can only flex so much until they crack thought.I'm fixing mine a second time and have been looking for somthing that doesn't hang down so low.I like the urathane kits they hold up better and would get that type if you think your going to bottom out.

Yes its very true, fiberglass = garbage in my opinion. You can bottom out a few times but after a little bit it will just crack on you. I wouldnt buy it ever again. Try urethane much better handles more stress will not crack just flexs

RE: Fiberglass BodyKit?
Kerscher are high end fiberglass kits but theyre still glass. go to www.lltek.com and check out their kits. I have the RSR Purin bumper on my car with the Rieger sides. The Purim bumper is pretty nice its fiberglass reinrced ABS and its as thick or thicker than ABS. The Rieger bumper is nice too but its a little flimsier than the RSR. Stay away from fiberglass if you can, its just flimsy and it flutters in the wind. oh and by the way if you see anything you like on llteks site look somewhere else ot fund it chances are it'll be alot cheaper, nice guys but they love to rape you on the prices
