lol wow such vitriole in a simple de-badging thread

Might as well jump into the **** storm

I've always kind of been a fan of the sleeper. Would I de-badge a S4??? probably on the back end.

But I don't have a S4.

Am I trying to hide the fact that I got a 2.0T???

Absolutely not. I'm a fan of the platform. It just looks cooler without that on there. Any ricers in my rearview gonna suspect I put a sandbagger badge on there anyway to hide something considerably bigger

It's really none of their business what I got.

I even took the rings off my trunk for a while...it did look kind of unique, but I ended up putting black rings back on there when I put the black ones on the front. I quite like it now.

Also going to catch flack as I am in progress of blacking out most/all of the shiny bits on mine...but it is a morobleu pearl, rather than black paint job, I think it is going to end up looking tasty. I need to get some pics up here.

to each his own I guess.

I used this 3M adhesive removal spray along with dental floss, and just parking out in the summer afternoon sun (95 degrees or so) was plenty of heat, no extra heat source required.

agreed

the back end of the S4 is clean as is with the S4 logo and the rings

plus i like how the red in the logo matches my calipers
