Had plasti dip on my rims, now the Factory colors have came off
I'm driving an Audi A4, 1.8T quattro.
I had plasti dip on my rims, i had sanded them down before applying the plasti dip because the last owner of the vehicle had curb scratches all over them. As i took off the plasti dip, i realized the original color of the rim has came off too for some reason. I have a spare and when comparing it to the rim there color is so off its disgusting lol.
Anyone know what i can do?

Duplicolor has specific wheel paint that you can find at most auto parts stores. There are a number of colors, including factory colors and clears. Preparation is 90% of a good paint job. There are a couple of good Youtube videos on wheel painting. Once you sand the wheels use a tach cloth to ensure you have all of the contaminants off and an etching primer.
One option is media blasting which in my area is $35-$50 per wheel.
Good luck!
