The contrast between the cream body color and the matte black finish on the lower trim? under the doors is really getting to me. It's also under the bumper and the rear I believe.

I really don't want to shell out for a body kit but if I do I would really like to know if anyone knows offhand of a very tasteful, subtle kit.

I would be extremely open to taking them off and trying to paint them only if it doesn't snowball into a huge undertaking. Has anyone else been down this road? Any advice or a breakdown of how they went about it would be helpful.
