Im having a problem with my mirrors, it seems that the tiniting on the glass of the mirrors is peeling off, but peeling from the inside. wondering if anyone else was having that same problem

 

i have the same thing happening to the driver side mirrior on my a6 wagon.

 

Yep, happens to alot of Audi mirrors. What is happening is the mirror is delaminating. The gel inside that acts like a tint is coming out. You have 2 choices: You can buy acrylic pieces that are not tinted bluish green and snap right back into place of existing mirrors, or you can try calling your local Audi dealership and asking what they charge for the original mirror lens. They may only offer the entire mirror, so call a couple of shops.
For instance, a dealer in Milwaukee quoted me for the original tinted lens at $130 total. ('95 90 Quattro) Remember too that one of the mirrors is convex.
