I have a 1997 Cabriolet with a 2.8 and have a fluctuating temp gauge. I was told that the ECT sensor needs replaced. I google this part and some stores are calling it a switch and some a sensor. Autozone.com has both??? I popped my hood looking for this ECT and found a sensor/switch and matches the part ATM 034919369C from NAPA. However, NAPA is calling this part a temperature sensor where Autozone is calling it a switch. HELP!! I need to find the ECT sensor or did I?
