Red face my audi a4 is overheating ????

the mechanic said it was the thermostat . So he replaced it and its still overheating , he said it needs a fan-clutch ??? I showed him that the coolant isnt circulating through the hoses.I have paid 900 bucks already and honestly they have no clue. The fan-clutch wont circulate the coolant through the hoses.I also now have no heat ??? I heard it could be a air bubble ???Is it that hard to diagnose whats wrong ???

If he replaced a thermostat and didn't burp the air out of the system, he's an idiot. Burp the coolant and see if that's a fix. Let us know and if it's not we can go farther in helping you fix it.
