Okay, last evening I purchased what I thought was a great car, I was told by the dealer that the check engine light with the code P0172 came on but that they reset the code and explained that they thought they had corrected the problem. While driving it today it came on again so I pulled into a garage that works on Audi's. Wow was I ever upset when this gentleman tells me that I just bought a money pit and I was "swooned" by the power and drive of my 2005 Audi s4. It has 124K miles on it and he preceeded to tell me that is when most people get rid of this model cause SO many things go wrong. Could someone please tell me what the heck this code is and if I should start deciding now whether to sell my left or right kidney.

 

its a problem with the Mass Airflow Sensor.

 

ya apparently your engine isnt getting enough o2.
