Post Count Rankings
This is currently being discussed in the Off Topic thread, but it seems like an answer/resolution will come faster if it is discussed here.
It seems on this new forum that once a member reaches 100 posts they become a "senior member" which is also the highest you can go. Not much to live up to, and especially boring if you had a high post count before the switch to the new forum.
May I request that new levels be put in? perhaps exactly like the old forum, or even better - a new system with even more levels? Discuss.

Not a lot of good has ever come out of post count recognition. Not recognizing it would probably motivate people to live up to something other than post count. But I can understand how having it sort of gives you a sense of accomplishment for sure. Even though I'm like #4, not having the top 10 posters list is a + in my book.

Same here. Many n00bs will listen to someone with more posts than knowledge. However if you separte OT and Car forum posts, than i think that would be slightly more useful. But i do think many people get a kick out of before watching their rank/title change more than 2x.
i don't care so much about my post count...i'm more proud that i've been a memeber for 3+ years. to me, that's more of a forum commitment than the number of posts a person has had.
