Tried assisting someone in the A4 area and cannot post nor PM.

 

Says the connection to the server was reset in Firefox. IE is also been hobbled. Not my end.

 

Can't post more than a line in fast reply or normal post either. True for both IE7 and Firefox. Def a problem!

I did extesive testing and descovered that you can post upto 347 characters. I emailed my findings to one of the administrators but have heard nothing.

hi i have a audi a4 2.6 v6 the problem is it cuts out intermittenty and ticks over at 1000rpm i can be driving a long and it starts jerking and then be fine and after abit it does it again and on tick over it will cut out but then start again i have had the crank sensor replaced and cleaned the idle control it will run without the idle out but still cuts out. i think or it could be me it does seam to run better with it unpluged. i have had a mercanic out and he thinks it is idle control and another thinks it ecu i have brought a ecu but apparently it cost a bomb to replace[:@] i just wondered if anyone out there knows the problem as i love the car and dont want to sell it due to its problems thaks. mark.
