I am a new member to this forum. I am currently having a problem with my power steering. My local mechanic has changed the pump. But the pump keeps on pumping out the fluid through the pot cover with great pressure despite the fact that the cover is tightly in place.The fluid is never retained in the pump or in the cup/pot. The few moment the fluid is retained, the steering becomes soft with the pump noisy. The steering is so strong all the time and wasting the fluid.I am so confused. Somebody should help me out please.
