I have just bought a 1997 A4 and after taking it to my mechanic I need to re-enter the 6 digit security code for the radio. How do I do it?

I have the code and it's 6 digits rather than the 4 digits I see in web bloggs.
Do you know what keys I need to press on the radio to enter it?

 

press the preset buttons marked 1-6.
if the first number in the code is 5, press the number one preset 5 times.

 

Actually Audi 5 Dock helped me with my radio
If my 6 digit code was 321456 I would
Press Prest button 3 once
Then Prest button 2 once
Then Prest button 1 once
Then Prest button 4 once
Then Prest button 5 once
Then Prest button 6 once

The radio then instantly came on but my preset channels were lost.
