Default 2001 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2 177k miles

My engine light was steady on and now is blinking.
My brake light is on.
I found that the intake manifold plastic linkage between the vacuum and servo is broken.
The car is very, very sluggish when taking off and at idle has a rough vibration.
On a cold start up I hear backfiring/popping coming from the middle underneath the car.
I had a coolant leak and the plugs were wet. Could the cat be plugged?
I have replaced the plugs, coil packs, timing chain tensioner guides and l/s camshaft position sensor.
Is the rough idle and poor sluggish take off due to the broken plastic link?
What else could be the problems?
I also noticed not to use the scanner at Auto zone. Audi must have a special scanner???
