Hi. I have the P0343 code on my A4 1.8t AMB engine. The car used to make a ticking noise below 1500rpm and ran fine but every time i step on the gas the noise will go away. A specialist said it had to be something related with the ''camshaft'' . The car was running fine until i parked it. My car wont start. I took the timing belt cover off and I found out that the belt was loose . Does that means I have bent valves? Or should I just replace water pump, timing belt and put the car on the road? New engine? Please i need help, suggestions.
