At first I thought it was the brake lights staying on so I replaced the switch under the dash. That didn't do it. The driving lights and the tail lights will come on during the night sometime and drain the battery. I turned off the delay switch next to the lights and that seems to have fixed it last night. I'm just trying to isolate the problem so I can fix whatever it is. Has anybody else had this problem?

 

Did you ever find the answer to your issue? My Audi A4 Cabrio is doing the same thing, only in cold weather. I park at night, outside, break lights are off. Middle of the night, brake lights come on and drain the battery. The brake pedal actually depresses, so I put a stick under the pedal last night and it didn't happen! I'm not going to accept this "fix"! Must be something that can be repaired/replaced????
