So the engine suffered from water damage and one of the connecting rods broke off completely, also the passenger side head was destroyed. Since then the connecting rod, piston, and head have been replaced along with gaskets, etc.

The car ran well for a couple of days, then died on me and i had to get it towed. The next day i went to turn on the car and it started. Now it makes a loud popping noise from the engine when i rev the car, however, it doesnt make such a loud noise when idling.

My theory is that the repaired cylinder isn't running. but I'm stuck and need a fresh mind on this.

Also the repair was done by myself and everything was done properly and expensively lol.
