Hi all,

I have an A4 FWD 2.0T 2013. The transmission (CVT) at around 20,000 miles started slipping or lagging up to 5 seconds from a dead stop to a point where my wife was almost t-boned pulling out of a side street and I was behind another car at a dead stop and slowly increased the pressure on the gas pedal with no increase in RPM nor motion in the car until it kicked in and lurched forward where I almost hit the car in front of me. I took it to the dealer and they were able to replicate the issues. That said they explained that all A4's have similar issues and Audi states there is no issue that they will fix. The dealer is trying to work it out but not sure how. The car is unsafe to drive. The mechanic told us all of the A4's have the same or similar issues some worse than others. The dealer is considering replacing the transmission but is not sure it will resolve anything. They told us that there have been so many problems that Audi is replacing it in the 2016's. Quattros do not have this issue only FWD. Anyone else having issues and does anyone have a fix?
