Default 35 or 45 offset

I have a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T stock. I'm looking to get a set of 18x9 Motegi MR122 Black wheels. I have 2 choices for offset 35 or 45. Which offset will be my best choice seeing as I'm already pushing it with the 9". Max recommended width is 8.5" I want the wheel to sit flush as best as possible.

Of the two, the 35 offset. That should clear the suspension (can't guarantee it of course).

Thanks.
THose Motegis' start as blanks. Once an offset is picked (+35 or+45) then they are drilled to the 5-112 bolt pattern. I'm hoping I don't have use spacers or have to roll the fenders.
