i have an 84 ur quattro , car has 80k on the clock, trouble is , hard to start , lots of winding ,hitting the gas peddle ,back fireing through the intake , starts ok when hot, timeing lines up ok, also has what seems to be a miss at tick over , its not the plugs as you can hear the change in the engine upon removel, cold start valve works ok, any help would be great ,

 

found out why it was runnig good , prevous owner never conected the alternater , now perrs like a kitten
