Hello, I recently purchased a 1996 audi a6 quattro 2.8L, and seem to be having trouble with the cooling system. I am experiencing: Every few times the car is driven it spews out coolant from the resevoir cap? I would say 1 out of 3 times. Once after about 4 hours of driving the oil temp rose. although it appears the oil is in good shape? then just last night after about 1 hour of driving some steam came into the cabin through the air vents and fogged the window like something is wrong with heater core but it blows good heat? I have done some reading online today and seems the head gasket possibly, although almost all symptoms i read about i do no have like water in oil, oil in water, white smoke out of the exhaust. Also seems a head gasket problem would show effect on the engine and it seems to run great, quiet, and smooth. anyways enough rambeling any advise would be greatly appriciated. thanks!
